Recent Work

In addition to the redesign of this site, the most recent consulting work I have completed has been JQuery animation coding for a project brought to me by JS3 Design, LLC (www.js3design.com) involving smooth non-Flash transitions. Thanks again to John Sours of JS3 Design for the opportunity to flex some JQuery muscles!

I currently serve as the Communications Designer for the EMS Performance Improvement Center (EMSPIC), part of the Department of Emergency Medicine at UNC Chapel Hill. Along with my colleagues Cameron Cheek and Paul Cooper, I have been experimenting with iPhone and iPad software development in an Enterprise environment. We have been testing tools that are cross-compatible with Android and other platforms.

I do a lot of commercial art design in support of different projects at the EMSPIC, but I wear several hats there. Database design and management in Oracle and MySQL, PHP coding, Adobe Flash animation, JQuery coding and Adobe Premiere video editing all occupy my time in addition to hardware and software technical support in a mixed Apple and Microsoft environment.
